Peggy, your doing an excellent job with one hand, a lot better than my hunt and peck method with both hands. I can work pretty good with one hand roping, but not very well typing. Kinda like a bull in a china closet.

Peggy, how is your wrist doing and also how is the cleanup and electrical issues coming along over your way? Over our way, where we were not hit so hard, there is about 85% up. About 15mi. East around Freeport, Clute, and Lake Jackson they are about 45 to 50% up. About 50miles to the East of us, the Galv. area, according to the news they are in very bad shape. A lot of homes destroyed, looks like a war zone.

We just got phone and internet service about 30min. ago. We have been using our cell phones to communicate. God was so good to us, no damage to our home and metal barn at the house. One of the barns at the Alvin area had some roof damage and the other barn is gone, but all linestock is ok, just a little wind blown.

Peggy, glad to hear your ok and I hate you broke your wrist. We are still in East Tex. We are going to head home tomorrow. Don’t know exactly how much damage was done at home. I brought our horses with us, so I know they are ok. When the storm came through here, we lost all power and worked off generators. We got power and water here yesterday eve. and turned off generators. Talk with ya’ll later. BH

Very interesting job and get to meet a lot of people. After each project you probably need a little rain.

Txs – down here on the coast it stays humid the year round. I get up around 4 am. each morning and you can walk from the house to my truck and start sweating. The only time its not humid is when a dry norther is blowing during the winter. What kind of work are you doing in this heat?

The weather man changed the chances of rain to 60% Fri. and we got it. It was 30% for Sat. and we did’t get anything. It was 30% for today, a lot of thunder and no rain. Kinda glad of that, I have just a few puddles of water standing. I’ve had between 4 & 5 ins. Txs, I don’t need what you all have been getting. BH

in reply to: Test Results!! #59593

Well at least you found out what the problem is. Now all you have to do is take it easy, get your appetite back, and do a lot of posting. Ha! Hope you get to feeling better real soon. BH

Txs – have the doctors said what other type of tests they were going to do? I’m in Peggy’s corner, you want to get fixed not a temp. patch job. Be sure to keep us up on what going on. Take it easy if posible and get some rest.

in reply to: Hi Ya’ll #59506

Well the weather man is saying a 60% chance of rain for tomorrow, 40% Fri., 20% Sat., and 20% Sun. I really do need to fix some fence on a pasture I just leased because I’m paying lease money on a pssture I can’t use until the fence is fixed. The fence is there, but it needs to be restreched in some places.
