Carrots in Beer

Doesn’t beer make everything better? This recipe pairs nicely with German dishes and is perfect to bring to an Oktoberfest party.
4 large Carrots
1 cup Dark beer (I recommend Hofbräu Dunkel)
1 teaspoon Sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons Butter
1/4 teaspoon Salt
Peel and slice carrots into long, thin slices....
