    A 16-year-old boy was driving a moped down a one-way street in the wrong direction. A policeman stopped him and gave him a ticket. The policeman paid the ticket himself. What is a logical explanation for this?

    What can run but never walks, has a mouth but never talks, has a head but never weeps, has a bed but never sleeps?

    We are very little creatures,
    All of us have different features.
    One of us in glass is set,

    Another you may see in tin,
    And a fourth is boxed within.
    If the fifth you should pursue,
    It can never fly away from you.

    Answer:

    The vowels: A, E, I, O, and U.
    A is “set in glass”;
    E is in “debt”;
    I is in “tin”;
    O is “boxed”:
    and U “can never fly away from you.”

    One syllable an amphibian I vow.
    If you cut me in half, I’m syllables two;
    I’m English, I’m Latin, the one and the other;
    What’s English in one half is Latin in the other.

    A man without eyes, saw plums on a tree.
    He did not take plums and he did not leave plums.
    How could this be?

    Tough one!

    The man did have one eye.
    He took only one plum
    and left only one plum 😯

    can sizzle like bacon,
    I am made with an egg,
    I have plenty of backbone, but lack a good leg,
    I peel layers like onions, but still remain whole,
    I can be long, like a flagpole, yet fit in a hole,
    What am I?
