I just LOVE that cat avatar, would you mind if I used it to make a signature tag for my emails? 😆

I love to animate images, but this cat animation is just too cute!

    Hi Generall,

I hope the avatars I made can be used here. I never made one before and when I tried to upload avatars of my furbabies, most would not upload so I need to redo them 🙁

Thats a picture of Binky who is now about 25lbs. He is the one that was abandoned by his mother and I raised as mine so to speak. He thinks I am his mother. Its been 3 years and his mother still will not have anything to do with him. She snuggles his brother and sleeps with him, but she hisses at Binky.

I have been a dog person my entire life, I had stray cats I feed that were always outside. I honestly didnt know if they had owners or not, I just wanted to be sure they were fed.

When I took in the pregnant stray, she looked half starved and to be honest, I fed her for a few weeks and after that I just let her in and kept her when it turned cold. She had no collar and it was obvious if someone owned her they didnt care about her.

Now I am owned by all of them, but Binky especially. Each one does have their own personality. When I had all ten kittens plus the mother, it was hard as I loved them all. But I had to make a choice, was only going to keep one, but ended up with 3.

She had 3 litters and not one kitten looked alike. All were males except for one and that female was exactly like her ( calico) I think you call them.

*waves hi to Peggy* Its nice to see you again. How have you been?

Yesterday I was not feeling well and didnt get to the PC, so today I have to answer emails and do a graphic class and send in the lesson. I may be back again later tonight.

Hope you all have a great day!

Reading your post about your fur-babies, you sound like me 😆

The image I use is of my pommie, he is about 16 years old now, but does not look it. I took in a stray cat 3 years ago and she gave birth about a month later.

Then a few months after that and again a few months after that. I had 10 cats in the house, my poor pommie didnt know where to hide.. LOL

I kept the mother, and one from her 1st litter. I kept the 2nd one she gave birth too. He was the only one and so large, she abandoned him and I had to bottle feed him every two hours. Now he is my 4th child, the pommie is my 3rd. LOL He is HUGE I think he weighs about 25lbs. He is 3 times the size of his mother and older brother.

My sons are allergic so its hard for them. I want more fur-babies but not until they move out. Then the cats can have their room. 😛

My friend has a talking cat. I saw it and heard it myself. When she puts it on her chest, it will hold her face and kiss her. She then says ” I love my mommie” its soooooooo weird, yet so adorable. I am going to try and get it on tape. My cats dont talk, but the big one can give kisses when asked and when he wants to be picked up, he sits back on his hind legs and stands up with his front arms stretched in the air.

Im only 5 ft tall and this cat is about 3 ft when he does this. I have to pick him like a toddler and tell him how handsome he is. I swear he just eats it up when I talk to him that way. 😆

He also knows how to open doors. He stands up and takes his paws and turns the door knob. Then he takes his body and shoves the door open and walks in like he owns the place.

Ok, so maybe he does own the place. LOL

I will probably switch off images here until I cycle through all the fur-babies * laughs*

Sorry, cable went out again 👿

I dont think it can be made into an advatar as its too large, even to resize I am not sure it will work.

I never made an avatar before but it looked easy enough. I am going to post the links for you both to pick them up and use here if you like.

I found a disney image for Georgie and another cat image for you Generall.

Georgie did you make that animated avatar your using? Its cute!

    Here is your link Georgie

    Generall here is your link

    HI Ladies,

Glad you liked the signature tags. Its so hard trying to figure out what people enjoy. I can see Generall likes cats so I took an image I had and removed the background.

Then I just played around with it , put text and animated it. Since he was on the scale, I thought that text would go well 😆

Georgie, I saw your animated avatar, I didnt have any Disney to make a tag for you sorry. I hope you liked the princess image I used.

    now how to use them.

They are too large to use at this site, I can see all images are small, I guess they call them Avatars? Not sure about this, but I just resized a bunch of images of my fur-babies and animated a few of them.

To use a signature tag, if your in any yahoo groups you can use them there. OR if you use Outlook, Outlook Express, Incredimail or any email client you can sign off with a signature tag.

If your using webmail, I am not sure how that works, but it may have am option to embed an image. If it does then you just type out all you want to say and at the end instead of typing your name, you embed your signature tag!

When I play at making some avatars I can make some for you both if you like or anyone else that would like one.

Hope I didnt miss anyone else’s Birtday, I didnt read the entire forum, just clicked on the Birthday topic.

My internet keeps going in and out, just phoned cable and they said they are working on the lines, so if I disappear its because I cant get back tonight.

Better post this while its still working.. LOL

    Thank you Generall.

I was happy, its hard learning a new program. I am use to Paintshop Pro, not sure if you ever heard of that.

Learning PhotoImpact now. It seems a bit more complicated then the PSP program, but maybe its because I started out learning PSP years ago.

I am always trying to learn new things. I recently started oil painting as well, trying to paint seascapes.

One thing is for sure, clean up is much easier on a PC then it is in real life. Maybe I should stick to digital art instead. 😆

Im surfing the web right now looking for some quiz sites for fun. In yahoo groups they would circle around a lot, but now I am not finding that many. Most want you to fill in your email and other info, so thats a red flag for spam.

Seems quiet here at the site, is this normal or is it because its Sunday?

Hey BTW great job on the spooky story, I was trying to catch up. Had to start at the beginning because I forgot most of the plot.

You write very well, do you do this as a hobby?

I got to class and posted. No one was there so I waited, then I realized I was in the wrong room 😳

Leave it to me to get lost even online 😆

Since they switched from yahoo groups to the web forum, I guess many were either lost or forgot last night the group reopened. I checked back today and only a few have posted. Yet I know there are tons of members.

So even though I was late myself, I was still the first to show up for class 😛

I received compliments today on my graphic project so for now all is good. :cheerleader:

You are all cracking me up!!!

If I am getting Old CooT to talk, then I feel honored 🙂

Hey, you are all sweet young things * flips hair over shoulders* what else would we be? 😆

I think Old CooT is just feeling sorry for me, since I cant seem to fight my way out a paper bag. I get lost so easy.

Tonight I start an online class to learn a graphics program. They moved it from email to web forum. This should be very interesting. I can see where I will be late for class each night.

hmmm.. Maybe I can say I couldnt find a place to park? Think they will buy that? ROFL 😉

Your pocket sounds like my shoulder bag. Or my PC desk, I am always writing myself notes and scribbling down things. I have grocery lists in my bag from the past few weeks.

Even with this site, if I dont get notified that someone posted in the topic, its not likely that I will find the same thread again..LOL 🙄

I just posted the recipe I made last night over in …ummm.. 😳
ok, I think it was members recipes or favorite recipes.. Its some where on this site ROFL

My son’s girlfriend requested that dish as her Birthday dinner and I figured I would post it here while the recipe was still in my head. I dont write these things down and I never measure anything.

Well thats not entirely true. I do measure when I bake, but not when I cook.

If anyone likes chicken and rice, they will love this dish and so easy to make.

    Hi Old CooT,

Unfortunately I forget things all the time 😳

Especially when I cook, I put in this and that and my family and friends will say ” I hope you wrote this down” and then I have to shrug and say ” sorry” wasn’t sure how it would turn out.

At times I will leave the house and get in the car and have to think ” now where was it I was headed too?” 🙂

Pretty soon I will have to wear a name tag and address when I leave the house, so if I forget I can see where it is I live.. LOL

see my quote below, for me its real 😆

    Hi everyone!!! 😛

I posted here yesterday and was waiting to be notified if any new msgs.

I was looking for my post in ” Chitchat” and I couldnt find myself.. 😆

Decided to re-introduce myself and there I was!!! Right where I left me! 😕

    *waves hi again to everyone*

When I was living in Tennessee, I had this doctor I would see every month. I have to be honest and say I really liked him, however it was hard to understand his accent, so I was never *really* sure on his directions.. lol

One day I am there, and they put me in the room at the end of the hall. As far as doctors go, I was usually there 30 mins to an hour..

Well, this one time, an hour goes by, then 30 mins.. I think I read every poster in the room at least a dozen times. Not to mention the magazine I brought in with me.

I dont like to be pushy, so I just waited a bit longer.. I peeked into the hall and saw patients being escorted into other rooms.. so I went to sit down in the chair as I was tired of sitting up on that table.

about 3 hours went by and I decided I would just come back another day.. I was about to fall asleep and all I wanted to do was get home..

I walked down the hall and to the desk where the nurse looks strangely at me and asks ” where did you come from?”

I said I have been in that room alllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll the way at the end of the hall for about 3 hours.. Is the doctor still busy?

She said OMG, I am so sorry…. we forgot you were there….

I did get to see the doctor, took 3hours and 10 mins.. he was with me about 5 mins and that was it..

After this happened, I started making appointments just before they closed. This way, I knew I would not be there that long.. LOL

    LOL….

I told you I would be waiting……watching….. in the shadows

When you feel the slightest wisp of cold air pass over your shoulder, when in the distance, you hear a low growling sound… you wonder if its your imagination, or is it…… no…….. it cant be…..

Yes… its ME.. but I probably stepped on the cats tail and thats the growling sound. The cold air was me trying to catch my balance as I hit the floor.. No worries.. LOL Just me being clumsy again.. hahahhaa

    Gotcha’ !!!!!!
