I found this, maybe it’s close enough to experiment with adding or changing veggies & by adding soy sauce (I would skip the salt) and ginger.
Beef And Vegetable Dish
2 lb. ground beef
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. chopped carrots
2 c. chopped cabbage
2 c. diced potatoes
1 can English peas
Directions
Place the beef in a frying pan and add just enough hot water to cover.
Add the salt, carrots, cabbage and potatoes.
Cover and cook until the vegetables are tender.
Remove the cover and add the peas.
Simmer, stirring, for 3 to 5 minutes.
