Hi ya GG!
Oh you have been missed! Several people have posted asking where you were, but you weren’t here to read the posts, hint, hint! 😆
I know you’ve been busy, that’s why I haven’t bothered you before now, but……………… just had to come over and give you a jolt! 😉
I’m glad you did. It wasn’t a bother. I’ll come around more often. I didn’t think anyone was interested in my football stuff so I didn’t post it. I will post my blogs for awhile and see if anyone reads it or has any questions.

It all depends on the type baler that is used. Some bales are 4×5, 4×6, 5×5, 5×6, 6×5, 6×6 & etc. The bales I use are 6×6 and will weigh from 1,150 to 1,450 each (dry). It would take about 17 to 20 square bales to equal one round bale this size.
thanks Bobby-

Well we are getting a lot more rain. Hay is probably going to be in high demand this year. In our area, horse hay (square bales) is running from 7.50 to 8.50 per bale. Usually it is 2.50 in the field and 3.00 in the barn. The price of fertilize has gone up along with fuel and gasoline also. I drive an average of 100 mi. every other day and sometimes more checking on my stock. I need a little dry weather for a few days. BH
curious- what do the big round bales run and how much do they weigh?
