January 28, 2007 at 2:18 am #34557generallParticipantBut I distantly heard someone scream, said Pamela.
Oh that was me, Ella explained, I was startled when Mrs. McFeenie passed out. err fell.January 28, 2007 at 2:23 am #34558generallParticipantThis will be my last cooking story post for a bit. I’ll be gone for most of ten days but hope to see some new additions to the story. 🙂

February 9, 2007 at 9:29 pm #35057generallParticipantHey guys, your turn 🙂
February 9, 2007 at 10:55 pm #35089PeggyMemberreally happened here. Shelia looked at her husband, who looked right back at her and shrugged his shoulders. She then turned to her uncle for help, but he just smiled and winked at her, and told her to go ahead and tell them the truth. Sheila blurted, I HAVE been telling the truth! Gosh it all started this morning when I was trying to fix breakfast! The phone rang, and I lost track of time, and…
February 10, 2007 at 3:22 am #35153GeorgieannaParticipantfrom there Shelia recounted her whole day and was almost in tears by the time she got to the part where the policemen knocked on her front door a short time before. When she was finished with her day, she stopped talking and looked hopelessly at the cops. The taller one glanced at the short one and after a minute turned to Shelia and said….
February 15, 2007 at 5:23 pm #35488PeggyMemberWell, even though your story sounds a little far fetched, we think you must be telling the truth. I don’t think you could have made a story up like that even if you tried! So, we are going to go ahead and leave, but I think it’s best that you all shut the party down, and send everyone home. Except for Mrs. McFeenie, I think it’s best if she keeps “sleeping” for a while. Pamela looks at the policeman in shock! She says, you are actually just going to leave, and not do anything about this? Both policemen are trying their best not to bust out laughing. The shorter one turns to Pamela and says….
February 15, 2007 at 8:18 pm #35514GeorgieannaParticipantma’am, as far as we can see this is just an innocent party that got out of hand. Nothing wrong or indecent has gone on here. They’re calling it a night and we’re going on our way. You can go home and only call us if you see blood or smoke coming from this house. Pamela looked at the policemen and all of Shelia’s guests with a look of exasperation, the policemen shook hands with all the men, said a few words to the ladies and headed to the door pausing, waiting for Pamela to move toward the door. Pamela stood still as if in shock, shook her head and walked toward the door as if she had been beaten with a stick. As they left, she turned and gave a look of total defeat. After the door was shut Shelia turned to the group and said…….
February 17, 2007 at 9:32 pm #35626generallParticipantThanks goodness that’s over! If Pamela had her way, we’d all be spending the night in jail.
The group said goodnight to one another and headed off to bed. Although exhausted, Sheila found she could not sleep. After tossing and turning for what seemed like hours, she slipped out of bed and went to the kitchen for a drink of water. Glancing out the kitchen window towards the back yard she spotted a figure moving around in the dark. At first she was startled but then realized it was Pamela. The woman was dressed in robe with curlers in her hair. Holding a flashlight, she was moving it back and forth across the lawn. What in the world can that snoop be looking for, Sheila wondered. I’ll fix her; she smiled to herself and quietly opened the back door…February 19, 2007 at 2:06 am #35841PeggyMembertaking the flashlight with her. She suddenly turned it on and started yelling here kitty kitty kitty! It happened that the flashlight shone right on Pamela’s face, and Sheila saw she also had cold cream on….Chuckling to herself, Sheila said, why Pamela, whatever are you doing in our backyard? I was looking for my cat, and instead I find you! Pamela, embarrassed and a little angry to be found out, sputtered…well…you see…I…heard some strange noises out here, and thought you all had gone to bed, and, and, I wanted to make sure that you were all right. Sure you did, thought Sheila to herself, well, let’s see about that! She said, oh that is just SO kind of you Pamela, I tell you what, I have some coffee cake left over from the dinner party, how about coming on in, since we are both up, and have a slice of cake, and some of that great juice that Uncle made? Pamela said, well, okay, but don’t you think it’s a little late, and, and…..
