She turns onto her back and starts laughing hysterically. Everyone looks at each other because all of a sudden her laughing is hysterically evil. Shelia can’t control herself and she doesn’t know what is causing her to do such a sinister thing. And just as suddenly as it started, she stops and starts crying like a baby! My goodness, honey, what in heavens name is wrong with you, her aunt asks. Everything was going so bad today and then you and Uncle Harry showed up and I thought that things were just going to get…………..the sound meant that the home cooking was ready, she slowly walked towards the kitchen with a big smile – she just knew this was going to be real special.
Reaching over she removed the lid and the smell was……mmm good.
Sheila took the small wooden spoon, dipped it into the pan raised it to her lips, tasted it, and boy oh boy it was………but what about dinner? What are we going to feed them? Oh, don’t worry about that, Honey, we already took care of that. Now we’re just enjoyin’ ourselves and getting to know one another. We’re having a wonderful time. You know, Mrs. McFeenie was pretty stuck up when she first came in tonight but now she’s just about the biggest cut-up of us all. Just go inside with the rest of ’em and enjoy your night, you’ve had a hard day. With that Sheila shrugs her shoulders and decides if she can’t beat them she might as well go in and have a good time with them. Uncle Harry went in and joined them but before he sat down, he put a plate of food in front of Shelia and told her is she ate it all he would give her a glass of his delicious “recipe”. Shelia looked up at him and just………

shrugged her shoulders and said to herself, well, okay then, if that’s the way they want it, I’ll just go ahead and go along with it. I’m sick of trying to pretend I’m sick, when I’m not. And oh gosh, I am starving to death! This looks really great. Although, just about anything would look great to me right now, considering I have ate next to nothing for a while! She picks up her fork, and as she was about to put that first bite into her mouth, she looked down at her plate and saw….

What she was sure was a spider perched on the corner of a piece of potato! It seemed to be waving at her. She shook her head to clear it. Those potatoes had been in the bin for weeks and weeks but it was probably the drink getting to her. Looking again she saw nothing, but was still debating if she wanted to eat now.
