David thanks for relaying the news and Charlie thank so much for taking time out to let us know about our dear friend. Tell John we are all pulling for him and keep on fighting. We will continue to keep you both in our thoughts and prayers.
Thanks everyone for the good thoughts, and yes you are a mother hen Peggy, we are very lucky to have you to look out for us. I am enjoying this job, everyday is a new adventure, always different. G. I miss our chats to, I am working in Chesterfield near some of the places we talked about and Nana yes I still have my other business, but I have good partners taking care of that and I have scaled down some of the things I am doing with my business and turned some of the duties over to one of my partners. I will be back soon and try to do a little posting.
Hi Peggy, I’m doing OK been really busy lately. I decided to take a break from nursing I was getting burned out and did a 360 for the last 2 months I have been working in retail for Babies R Us opening a new store and we just had our grand opening this weekend. I miss the nursing but it is great to work with parents that are bringing a new life in to the world. I worked for so long helping patients and their families that were in life limiting scenarios and don’t get me wrong I loved what I was doing, but there comes a time when you have to take a break, it is a lot harder on the caregivers than most people realize and this was one of the hardest decisions I have had to make. I check in almost daily and I try to keep up with what is going on, just haven’t had much time to post, maybe now that we have the store open I will have more time. I hope you have been doing well and I see we have some new members doing a lot of posting that is great, welcome to all who are new here, you could not have picked a better site, the people are great here, you are now a member of the family and what a good family it is. I promise I will be here more and do a little more posting I really miss all of you to, this form has always been the highlight of my day.
Charlie thanks for keeping us updated on Johns condition. John is a great friend to everyone here and I know we all will be saying extra prayers for you both and praying that John has a complete recovery. Take care of yourself and God Bless.
Charlie, like Peggy said thank you so very much for keeping updated on our great friend John, and with a great friend like you by his side I know he will once again beat this illness and be back here once again spreading his wisdom and humor. Hi Generall, we have been lucky so far this year only a few flurries, but they are calling for a wintry mix tomorrow, meaning they don’t know what we will get probably ice and freezing rain. Your Dad is right, we may not get snow often but when we do it is usually a lot. How about in your neck of the woods, I know the middle of the country has really had it bad for the past few weeks.
Good to hear you are doing OK my friend, just keep doing what the Dr’s tell you and as for the overnight stays, it is always best to check out these things just to make sure, I know it can be a bit of an inconvenience, but sometimes an overnight stay can prevent a lengthy stay later on. Keep up the good work.
