Can someone tell me how it’s running now.I can’t afford to keep using my dialup to test things, costs way to much.

So far on this end, it’s running okay. I do have a member that has problems logging in and staying on. I forwarded that one to you at your email address. Dont know if that has anything to do with what you are doing or not.

Don’t know if I will make any sense…it opens…it posts…but for some reason down on the bar on explorer under web page that show opening things & Done…there is a rectangular box that shows progress of opening…well it seems to hang at less than what would be 50%…has been that way for days mainly(only on this web site, rest go right through). Once in a while it does make it all the way, but not usually. Sometimes on posts it hangs up before getting the screen to post on…but if I go ahead & hit new post again than it goes into it. Right now I am at less than 50% in whatever that box is.

I am on dial up at 50.6Kbs

Don’t know if I made any sense or helped any…I’m not real computer smart.

Yeah there is something that causes this site to hang. It’s not dialup friendly or should I say it’s not Internet explorer friendly.I have trouble using dialup and IE to.Okay I’ll go into my server settings and see if there is something I can do that may help and let me know if it does.

I’m using IE, and it seems to be working pretty good right now. It is strange though how sometimes it will be going fine, then all of a sudden it gets real slow. I understand what you meant when you said the outside images can cause that. But usually when this board is slow, the recipe part of the site is slow also, and they both are running off php and mysql.

    Hope that makes sense!

Yeah, I noticed that too about this site being fussy! Oh, and I keep forgetting this…the icons seem very slow to load up a lot of the time, and sometimes all of the do not load at all. The smiles too, and I really don’t have THAT many installed on here.
