It isn’t here…it comes up in a separate window. Now most of the time the title has Add Remove in it as the first words…like Recipe Snoop does on the blue after IE on here.

Adaware.Everyone should have these programs installed to get rid of spyware.It will slow down your pc and cause all kinds of problems if left.
I have ad-aware se on here I do every night. Is that one…spybot better…can you have 2 different ones
Jeff said for you to go to getfirefox.com and download firefox. Try running that instead of Internet Explorer. I agree…he put that on mine, and it is MUCH better all the way around.
It’s best to have at least 2 different spyware programs on your pc.One usually picks up what the other may have missed.I have 4 on mine but most of the time I only need run the 2.
I have it on here & opera too. When the security POP UP comes up here today I am on IE…but the warning is about foxfire…something about webfun pages that I took off (was all the extra smileys on the old board) the pop up began back then…but could control them with ad aware for a long time. Now the past couple weeks it has somehow gotten the Add Remove before it and cannot find to get rid of. Delete all cookies & temp internet files every night do ad aware…do disk clean…defrag & virus check (updated almost everyday) every night before I get off computer. I even have been doing chkdsk 2-3 times a week (complete)
Sounds like a popup on this site.I can’t be sure because I block all of them.I’ll turn off my blocker and have a look.
It doesn’t say that. It all started back with that Smiley banner thing on the old board…download smileys…but somehow even though I took them off about two months ago…day after I downloaded them. It had something to do with funwebpages…the toolbar had smileys & other things
I don’t know…it doesn’t make much sense to me…the Winfix is the one drives me crazy & the security one…with the warning it wants ya to download winfix and there are two others it says reistry & something else to do scans of your computer. It says that foxfire has let something take control of computer it has a number…207. —- I just keep closing them. I have pop up blocker set here to block all pop ups but those get through when others get blocked. Happens sometimes on MSN home page too so I don’t think it is just anything from this site. I’m not real smart about these things…dumb is more like it.Your’e not dumb! Sound pretty darn smart to me! These computes can be a real problem sometimes! My son keeps mine going! 😀
