grabs her purse and keys, heads down the stairs, and slips out the back door. She put the key in the ignition and thinks, maybe I shouldn’t leave Lilly here, and I did invite her along. It’s going to be a long day and at best, it will be dark when I get back. I’ll see if she’s awake and if not then I’m going without her!
Making her way back to the house, she glances up at Lily’s window. The blinds were drawn and she is having second thoughts about disturbing her.
