    Coot;
    i’m not sure we would have any success getting these gals to try a squirrel recipe…………critters are just too darned cute, ‘specially after you feed ’em peanuts all winter, and they start sitting on your lap to eat……..

    we used to eat crow (forget the metaphor!) as well!!

    (did you know a crow can live forty years in the wild??)

    A good squirrel won’t last long with me.. lolzzz..after all they get in my garden and steal tomatos, they steal the apples, peaches and pears too,.. take a couple bites and throw em away,…

    They have earned their way to the dinner table,,lolzz… and after all,.. we were raised to respect wildlife with the “If ya kill it, ya gotta eat it!” upbringing of the parents and grandparents .

    😆 Thanks! Well, you know Louisiana, all kinds of critters, probably several that don’t have names!

    Can’t wait till we get everything set up, and we have birds! You know when hummingbird season is?

    I am even trying to talk Bill into letting Georgette have another duck playmate!! Put a little wading pool in the back, and they will have a blast! 😆
