Boboli Type Pizza Crust
Ingredients:
1 cup water
3 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons Red Star active dry yeast
1 teaspoon minced garlic
2 teaspoons parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
parmesan cheese to sprinkleDirections:
Add all ingredients (except) second parmesan cheese to breadmaker in order
listed by your manufacturer. It is a good idea to put the garlic down inside the
flour so it does not slow the yeast. Set breadmaker on dough setting. When
complete, form two crusts on pizza pans, sprinkle with parmesan cheese, cover
and let rise again. Bake 5-10 minutes at about 450 F until light brown. Cool.
Wrap tightly in foil and freeze until you get the pizza urge. Great to have around
for easy last minute dinners. Good way for kids to make pizza too.May 26, 2008 at 3:07 pm #57143luckyModeratorABM Basic Pizza Dough
Ingredients:
Makes 1-1/2 lbs. of pizza dough (enough for 1 large pizza, medium crust)
Put ingredients in the bread pan in order listed
1 cup warm water
4 Tbls olive or vegtable oil
3 cups flour
3/4 tsp salt
2 tsp bread machine yeast
Preparation:
Put ingredients in the bread pan in the order listed. Select pizza dough cycle
for 1-1/2 lbs on your Breadman Plus (or equivalent cycle on any other machine.
Once done, let the dough rest inside the machine about 1/2 an hour because it
will be easier to handle. Using a paper towel, grease a large bowl with
vegtable oil and turn dough out into the bowl. Roll the dough around the boil
to collect some of the oil (makes the dough softer.) Press dough into pan and
top with pizza sauce and your favorite toppings.
Notes:
Add 2 Tbls of pre-minced garlic to the dough, or try 1/4 cup romano or
parmesan cheese. Don’t be afraid to experiment with your dough tastes and
flavors!!!January 3, 2012 at 6:06 am #60797m1tch3ll3MemberThanks you for posting these recipes. I’ll try to cook one from these on weekends and make best pizza in Galveston . :feedme: 😆
