Chinese Beef with Zucchini
3 tablespoons peanut oil
2 tablespoons cooking wine
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 1/2 Tablespoons soy sauce
4 green onions, sliced
2 tablespoons ginger, diced
1/2 lb. lean beef steak, cut into thin strips
3 medium zucchini, cut into 1/2 inch-strips
Fry onions and ginger quickly in peanut oil. Add beef and zucchini and cook 3-4 minutes. In separate bowl mix wine, salt, sugar, soy. Add sauce to beef and cook several minutes. Serve with hot rice.
This looks great – I made something similar with chicken instead of beef and sesame oil instead of peanut a week or so ago. The spoiled children at my house turned thier nose up and sked me to fix them a froxen pizza. Oh well – it was still fantastic.

Do you cook the zucchini or leave it raw? The recipe doesn't say. Thanks.
Sorry about that. I updated the directions on this recipe. Add the zucchini with the beef.
