These chicken Parmesan meatballs is a wonderful dish that is full of flavor.\u00a0 Serve them over pasta, with bread, or you can make chicken parm meatball sliders.<\/h3>\n

\"chicken<\/a><\/p>\n

For the meatballs:<\/p>\n

1 lb ground chicken
\n\u00bc cup dried Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
\n3 tbsp grated onion
\n1 tbsp dried parsley
\n1 tbsp chopped fresh basil
\n\u00bd cup grated Parmesan cheese
\n\u00be tsp salt
\n\u00bc tsp black pepper
\n2 garlic cloves, minced
\n1 large egg, beaten
\npinch of red pepper flakes
\n2 tbsp olive oil<\/p>\n

For baking:<\/p>\n

12 oz marinara sauce
\n8 oz mozzarella cheese
\n2 tbsp Parmesan cheese<\/p>\n

To make the meatballs:<\/p>\n

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0 F. Add all of the meatball ingredients to a large bowl and combine gently using a fork.<\/p>\n

Use a 2-inch ice cream scoop to portion out the meatball mixture, shape each into a ball with your hands.<\/p>\n

Heat the olive oil in a large cast iron skillet and brown the meatballs on all sides.<\/p>\n

Add the sauce to the pan, divide the cheeses between the meatballs, topping each with a fair amount of cheese.<\/p>\n

Bake for 15 minutes. Place under the broiler for the last minute to lightly brown the cheese.<\/p>\n

Serve over pasta or with crusty bread.<\/p>\n
