1 onion, sliced thin
\n5 cloves garlic, chopped
\n2-3 carrots, chopped fine in a food processor
\n3 tablespoons olive oil
\n2 (28 oz.) cans crushed tomato
\n1 (28 oz.) can tomato puree
\n1 (28 oz.) can plum tomatoes
\n1 tablespoon salt
\n1\/2 tablespoon black pepper
\n2 tablespoons dried basil
\n2 tablespoons dried oregano
\n2 tablespoons dried thyme
\n3 bay leaves<\/p>\n

In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic and carrots and saute for about 3-4 minutes. Add the 4 cans of tomato and all the seasoning. Stir to combine.
