Preheat the oven to 325°F. Place the spinach in 1/2 cup of boiling water. Return to a boil and cover. Lower heat and simmer for about 4 minutes or until the spinach is broken up. Drain but do NOT press all the liquid from the spinach.. Combine the spinach, salt, onion, pepper, cream cheese, basil, parsley, garlic and egg in a blender or food processor. Process until just blended. Pour into a buttered 1 quart casserole. Bake for 30 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Serve hot
This sounds really good and spinach is one of my favorite things to eat. I just would like one clarification please…you say one egg – chopped…so I am assuming that would be a hard-boiled egg?? Please let me ASAP as I like to make this soon.
