    Horseradish Sauce (for beef)

    Prepare Medium white sauce:
    For each cup sauce use:
    1/4 cup butter
    1/4 cup flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 cup milk

    Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. Blend in flour, salt & pepper. Cook over low heat, stirring until mixture is smooth & bubbly. Remove from heat. Stir in milk. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil & stir 1 minute.

    Stir in:

    1/3 cup horseradish
    1/4 tsp. dry mustard

    Heat through. Sprinkle with paprika before serving.


    Horseradish Sauce

    2-3 Tbsp prepared horseradish (I use more to taste)
    1/4 cup sour cream (reduced fat sour cream works but not fat-free)
    1-2 Tbsp real mayonnaise
    A little salt

    Mix well, adjust the horseradish to taste then refrigerate until ready
    to use.,I make as much as I need just by mixing ingredients and not measuring.
    It’s an easy recipe. Good on grilled steak too.


    Horseradish Mayonnaise

    1/2 cup prepared mayonnaise
    1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
    2 tablespoons prepared horseradish, drained

    Whisk together all ingredients in a small bowl. Season, to taste,
    with salt. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before using.
