    FIVE VERY LUCKY EGGS

    4 c. cubed French bread
    1 1/2 lbs. cubed ham or pork sausage
    1/2 lb. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    3 tbsp. flour
    1/4 tsp. dry mustard
    5 eggs, beaten
    3 c. milk
    3 tbsp. melted butter

    Layer 1/2 the bread cubes, ham and cheese in greased 9×12 glass dish. Repeat. Beat the eggs with a whisk. Add the flour and mustard and whisk up well. Whisk in the milk. Pour over the bread cubes, ham and cheese. Cover with tin foil and refrigerate overnight. Next morning, bake 350 degrees for 1 hour, covered part of the time.
