Boiled a bag of bugs last weekend and we tried something different. Instead of smoked sausage we used sweet Italian sausage. That turned out GOOD. I was wondering what all else everyone uses? I also used alot of onions but left a few whole and the next day we sliced them and made onion rings out of them. They were limp, but really good. We also made fries out of the left over taters. Now I am gonna have to make a big batch of homemade Ettoufee’.
Y’all would be amazed at how hard it is to get a “bag of bugs” round here……….almost always have to order them at the restaurant….. and when you CAN find ’em to prepare at home, the quality is , well, lacking……….
