Banana Poi (Samoan Dish)
1cup Half and half milk or 1/2 can coconut milk
Sugar to taste
Mash bananas (preferably with hands) until smooth. Mix in vanilla and milk. Add sugar to taste. Peel lemon and add the peels to the mixture and stir. The lemon peel will add a faint lemon flavor.
Strain out the peels, Pour over ice and serve.
One who, upon discovering that a rose smells much better than a cabbage, assumes it will also make a better soup ....
