Perfect Black Beans
1 (16 ounce) can black beans
1/2 small onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
1 small jalapeno, chopped
salt, to taste
In a medium saucepan, combine beans, onion, jalapeno, and garlic. Bring to a boil and stir. Reduce heat to medium-low. Add cilantro and salt. Simmer for 5 minutes, and serve.
This looks great. I love black beans and will definitely be checking this dish out!

This canned version is great when you are short on time. But you could absolutely make this recipe using fresh or dried beans as well.
I am also a huge lover of Black Beans, i used to hate it before but after trying my friend's recipe i started loving it. I'll surely check this recipe out. Thanks for sharing.
I love black beans, I tried something similar recently. Even though I must say…it's not very Spanish, more Latin American;)
You should consider making a Feijoda recipe, it's made of black beans, fresh and other stuff, It is simply DELICIOUS, most brazilians love it.
