For Christmas I got a Panini Sandwich Press, so here is my first creation I made using some ingredients I already had on hand in my kitchen. Below the recipe I have posted Step-by-Step photo instructions as well.
2 slices bread of your choice
2 slices provolone cheese
2 strips of roasted red pepper
salt, to taste
Italian seasoning, to taste
Place two slices of your favorite bread on a plate.
Place a slice of provolone cheese on top of each slice of bread.
Top each of the slices with the roasted red pepper.
Season with salt and Italian seasoning.
Assemble the sandwich.
Preheat your Panini Sandwich Press or a grill.
Place the sandwich on the panini press and pull the top down on it.
Let cook for about 5-7 minutes.
Serve immediately.

I’ve always wanted to try making sandwiches with a panini press and the ingredients you chose to use in your first one sound like a great idea, especially the provolone cheese (it’s one of my favorite cheeses
)!

I love my panini press, but I do not take it out enough. You have inspired me to get it out! Great sandwich!
