Bacardi BBQ Sauce

Bacardi RumHere is a new BBQ sauce I tried out that got wonderful reviews. Try it out at one of your BBQ’s this weekend!

1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup Bacardi White or Gold rum
3/4 cup ketchup
1/2 cup orange juice
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1 tbsp chopped garlic
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp cayenne

In a saucepan, over medium-high heat, melt butter. Stir in Bacardi rum, ketchup, orange juice, honey, lemon juice, garlic and seasonings. Cook, stirring occasionally, about 40 minutes or until thickened.

Makes about 1 cup.

    This just is so different, who would have thought to use a combination like this as a sauce, will have to wait till summer to try it out as its just a little to cold right now to have a braai.

    Is it a sauce or some kinda drink. Seems to very freaky, need to try out once.
