Boost Your Brain !

The foods you eat can affect how you think. Try and get more of these foods into your diet:

Omega-3 Fatty Acids – Found in salmon, tuna, walnuts, canola oil and flax seed oil. You can also get Omega-3 fish oil supplements at your pharmacy or nutrition store.

Blueberries – Blueberries are very healthy and have been known to slow down and sometimes reverse age-related declines in brain function.

Green Tea – Improves memory and prevents age-related memory loss.

Chocolate – Yes chocolate! Dark chocolate can help dilate your arteries, improve blood flow and prevent age-related dementia.

It's true that the foods what we eat decides how we think. I know people who take lot of spicy and oily foods gets angry very quickly. They behave very emotionally. Thanks for nice tips about Green Tea and chocolate. These days I'm getting lot of leg pains because of long hours continuous sitting before computer. I think this is because of lack of proper blood circulation. Now I will eat lot of Chocolate for better blood flow. Thanks once again.

You forgot to mention nuts! Researches show that nuts and seeds boost your brainpower and balance your moods. Nuts are high in vitamin E, which helps to decrease memory loss as we age. The best include walnuts, peanuts, almonds and non-hydrogenated nut butters. Furthermore, it is said that walnuts, which also containt Omega-3 acids, may be able to boost your mood in a way similar to the famous antidepressant drug Prozac.

  3. What about fighting gum disease and mouth cancer… any suggestions? I have been researching alternative methods for this and have only found minimal information.
